Val d’Or confrence

The 10th underground operation conference will be held in Val d’Or, Que., Feb. 24-27. The theme is “safety, productivity and costs . . . sharing tricks of the trade.” Field trips will be included. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a list of 15 underground mining operations of the Val d’Or and Rouyn-Noranda areas.

The conference, hosted by the Harricana branch and sponsored by the metal mining division of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, will present 27 technical papers.
