A report on diamond exploration in the Prairies (T.N.M., Sept. 26/94) incorrectly stated that Shaun Spelliscy presides over the company Indicator Exploration.

Indicator’s president is John Lee. The company has extensive diamond properties concentrated in southeastern Manitoba and in the Dauphin area of that province.

Exploration on behalf of United Keno Hill Mines (TSE) at the Elsa property in the Yukon is designed to find additional mineralization (700,000 tons averaging 40 oz. silver per ton), sufficient to permit mining for five years. Incorrect information concerning this program appeared in our Oct. 3 issue. ———–

Contrary to an earlier report (T.N.M., Sept. 26/94), Kinross Gold (TSE) is the joint-venture partner of Teck (TSE) on the Venezuelan project in theEl Callao district.

The partners are jointly earning a half interest in two groups of properties covering three former producers in the region.

TVX Gold (TSE) was incorrectly identified as Teck’s partner. ———–

The feasibility study by Placer Dome (TSE) for the Las Cristinas gold project is slated for delivery in the second quarter of 1995.

A production decision for the Venezuelan project is expected sometime in 1995, not 1997 as reported in the C Section of our Sept. 26 issue.
