Three intersections grading more than 0.1 oz gold per ton over 5 ft have been reported by Nova-Cogesco Resources and Urbana Corp. from drilling at the latter’s Urban Twp. project near Lebel-sur-Quevillon, Que.
A program of about 18,000 ft of drilling was completed by the end of February. Assays are incomplete; two holes on the south block of the property were reported to contain visible gold.
By spending $750,000 on exploration work, and through a payment totalling $140,000, Nova-Cogesco has earned a 50% interest in the property.
