Doran negotiates deal with Lacana

A letter of intent has been signed by Doron Explorations giving Lacana Mining an option to earn a 50% interest in the Cody Ridge silver-lead-zinc prospect near Faro, Yukon.

To earn the interest, Lacana must spend $2.5 million over three years. It also has an option to earn an additional 1% by spending a further $300,000 on exploration or by paying $100,000 cash.

A $500,000 program is scheduled to begin in the next few months. Work will include 5,000 ft of drilling and blast trenching. A preliminary program of geological mapping, geophysical surveys and blast trenching was completed in 1987.
