Partners planning program at Skookum

Equal partners Noront Resources (VSE) and Blue Emerald Resources (VSE) are planning a second-phase program for their Skookum property, 3.4 miles from the Eskay Creek deposit in northwestern British Columbia. The 1991 spring program will further test the main target which emerged from the recently completed first-phase program. The companies said the north-south trending, high angle thrust fault bisects the property and appears to be on strike with the Eskay Creek deposit. Soil and chip samples along the fault are reported to have returned high-grade gold assay results.

Next season’s program will also further test two secondary targets which were located by reconnaissance geophysics on the eastern portion of the property.
