Drilling by Pacific Sentinel in full swing at Casino project

Drills are turning again on the Casino property in the southwestern Yukon. Pacific Sentinel Gold (VSE) reports that four rigs are at work and an additional two rigs will be operational shortly.

Drilling last year outlined 584 million tons grading 0.26% copper, 0.025% molybdenum and 0.008 oz. gold per ton.

At least 50,000 ft. of large-diameter core drilling are planned under the current program, including in-fill work for detailed mine planning and stepout drilling to determine the deposit’s final size.

Casino remains open to expansion on the west and north.

The company also plans to test other targets within the property. Drill results will be used for mine planning and metallurgical work, leading to a prefeasibility study before year-end.
