Teck drilling Dufresnoy play

A 4-hole drilling program is under way on the BarryOr property in Barry Twp., 180 km northeast of Val d’Or, Que., Dufresnoy, Societe d’Exploration Miniere (ME) reports.

Program operator Teck (TSE) may earn a 43.75% interest in the property by spending $650,000 on exploration work by Aug. 28, 1993, and by making a $60,000 payment to Dufresnoy.

Once Teck has earned its interest, a joint venture will be formed: Teck, 43.75%; Dufresnoy, 43.75%; and Somines, 12.5%.
