Kewagama exploring old Granada mine

Proceeds from two private placements completed earlier this year are being used to finance the work. Current activity consists of raise driving and sampling of the No 2 vein system above the 125-ft level. The first of the two raises was driven through 88 ft, and channel samples from this raise taken at 5-ft intervals averaged 0.46 oz gold per ton over 5 ft through the length of the raise, the company says. Visible gold is reported.

A second raise 75 ft west of the No 1 vein system has been collared on the No 2 vein and has been driven through a distance of 58 ft. Visible gold is also reported from this raise.

A surface exploration and drilling program is being planned for the property.
