A total of 1,412 metres of drilling in 12 holes was completed on the Berven Lake property by operator CAMECO — A Canadian Mining & Energy Corp. The holes tested the Joey gold occurrence at depth and along strike, but failed to intersect economic gold values.
On the Severson Lake property, 831 metres of drilling in eight holes was completed to evaluate the DJ structure and other targets. The highest assay reported was 0.155 oz gold per ton over 0.5 m.
