Gold production steady at Limon

At the Limon gold mine in Nicaragua, Triton Mining (TTM-T) produced 3,675 oz. during the month of February, bringing the year’s total to date to about 7,690 oz.

The cash cost for the month remained at US$261 per oz. A total of 28,347 tonnes was milled at an average head grade of 5.04 grams gold per tonne.

Production is targeted at 50,000 oz. this year.

In the meantime, underground ramp development at the mine intersected a new vein 200 metres east of the main production area. The vein averages 14.3 grams over a developed width of 4.7 metres.

Triton will begin an underground drilling program on the vein during the current month.
