(“Yorkton” or the “Company”) (TSXV:YEG) announces that the Company held its Annual General and Special Meeting (the “Meeting”) for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2021. A total of 84,133,917 common shares were voted at the Meeting representing 74.67% of the issued and outstanding shares of the Company. All matters to be acted upon, as set out in the Company’s Notice of Annual General and Special Meeting and Management Information Circular dated August 23, 2022, were approved by shareholders at the Meeting.
The Company’s shareholders voted to:
fix the number of directors at four;
elect Messrs. Ben Lui, Bill Smith, Mark Wilbert, and Jason Theiss as directors of the Company for the ensuing year;
appoint Kenway Mack Slusarchuk Stewart LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, as the Company’s auditors for the ensuing year; and
re-approve the Company’s 10% rolling stock option plan, as further described in the Notice of Annual General and Special Meeting and Management Information Circular dated August 23, 2022.
After the meeting, shareholders were given a presentation on the Company’s business model and recent property acquisitions.
