Tony Makuch is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kirkland Lake Gold. Prior to joining Kirkland Lake Gold in July 2016, Tony was the Chief Executive Officer of Lake Shore Gold Corp and was largely instrumental in building Lake Shore Gold from a junior explorer to a low-cost gold producer with quality operations. Tony, a native of Timmins Ontario, has a proven track record of leadership in the gold mining industry. In September 2017, Tony was nominated the Mining Journal Americas’ CEO of the year. In 2015, he achieved the TopGun Turnaround CEO designation in the Brendan Wood International Press and is the recipient of numerous safety awards throughout his career. Eddie Bilborough is a Business Line Manager for
Automation and Digitalization at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, a leading provider of equipment and technical solutions for mining and rock excavation. He has a post-graduate degree in mining engineering and a diploma in mechanical engineering, and has been working with Sandvik for over 12 years. Beginning his career in Australia, Bilborough worked in progressively senior
roles consulting with crushing and screening businesses to optimize their equipment for hard rock applications. He then brought his expertise in production optimization to Canada where he has worked with customers from all stages of mine engineering, development, and production in implementing modern digital and autonomous solutions to enhance their mine’s performance.

Mr. Bourassa is President and CEO of Nemaska Lithium Inc. since the Corporation’s inception in 2008, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the mining industry to this role. Among other things, he was instrumental in identifying and negotiating the acquisition of the Whabouchi lithium property and securing over 1.3 billion dollars through diversified financings for the development and construction of the Whabouchi project. Through his leadership, the Corporation brought an historic lithium showing to a world-class deposit and has developed a new patented process to produce high purity lithium hydroxide, which should allow Nemaska Lithium to become a world leader in these high purity lithium salts markets.
Mr. Bourassa is recognized as an industry expert on lithium exploration and development and acts as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences. Throughout his career, he has been involved in exploration and mining companies as President and CEO, Legal Counsel, in-house Corporate Counsel and Director. These companies were producers of gold, copper, calcite and dolomite. Mr. Bourassa holds a law degree from Université Laval.

With this experience under his belt, paired with a PhD in Mathematics, Campeau leads a team at Newtrax Technology Inc., spearheading true AI initiatives changing the industry.
Ryan Castilloux is an MBA-educated geologist and managing director of Adamas Intelligence – an independent research and advisory firm specialized in markets for strategic metals and materials. Ryan began his career as an exploration and mine production geologist with Falconbridge, Xstrata and Glencore in Sudbury, Canada and in 2011 obtained an international MBA (Finance) from RSM Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In 2012, Ryan founded Adamas Intelligence to help producers, end-users, investors and other stakeholders make informed decisions involving strategic metals and materials, such as rare earth elements and battery materials.

He spent over a decade at Brookfield Asset Management expanding the company’s renewable power, real estate and infrastructure global platforms. Prior to joining Hydrostor, Jordan was the Chief Investment Officer within Brookfield’s district energy platform, Enwave Energy Group. He has experience in renewables and infrastructure project development, and has been involved in a number of key transactions and financings. Kulvir Singh Gill

Kulvir Singh Gill has almost 20 years of experience working at the intersection of innovation, technology, and sustainability. Mr. Gill is the Founding Executive Director of the Development Partner Institute (DPI) to advance sustainability in mining. The DPI works to fundamentally change the business model of the mining industry to an integrated and proactive development partner, delivering on economic, environmental and social shared purpose. In his current role as Associate Director with the DPI, he has convened global working groups, spoken at major mining conferences and lead their regional catalyst programs in South Africa, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru. He is also a Senior Principal with the strategy firm Clareo, Mr. Gill leads international innovation and growth projects with Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries including mining, oil and gas, heavy industrial, banking, retail and media.
He began his career as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman before holding several positions with Barrick Gold involving supply chain management, post-merger integrations, strategic planning, innovation and sustainability.
Mr. Gill is also passionate about community service. He is a co-founder of the Seva Food Bank in Mississauga. He also serves on the boards of the William Osler Health System and the Sikh Research Institute. Mr. Gill is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and a 2010 Action Canada Fellow. Mr. Gill holds a B.Sc. and a B. Comm. from the University of Calgary. He lives with his family in Brampton, Ontario.

Trent Mell is a mining executive and capital markets professional with 20 years of international experience in mine permitting, development and operations. His mining career spans base and precious metals, including Barrick Gold, Sherritt International, North American Palladium and AuRico Gold. His commercial experience includes offtake contracts, M&A and over $2.6 billion in equity and debt financings. In junior mining, he was CEO of Falco Resources, where he led a team that saw a 140% increase to the Horne project’s resource estimate to 6.6Moz AuEq. As President and Head of Mining of PearTree Securities, Trent created a mining team and led the firm to become the largest provider of flow through capital in Canada, placing more than $300 million in capital in their first year.

Nadine Miller is an Independent Non-Executive Director for Wesdome Gold Mines, a Canadian junior gold company, and a Strategic Advisor at Awz Ventures Inc. Awz is a Canadian hub for investments in cyber security, intelligence and physical security AI-based technologies from Israel, a global leader in these sectors. Awz manages US $100MM between its first two venture capital funds.
Nadine has a Masters degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and has a Bachelors of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto (Lassonde). She obtained her MBA from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. The combination of her engineering degrees and her MBA allow her to merge her passions mining, technology, and business.
Nadine is an active advocate and volunteer for the engineering profession and has held senior roles as Past-President of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, and the Secretary of the Board for Consulting Engineers of Ontario. A strong advocate on issues pertaining to women in engineering; Nadine received the 2017 Leading Women Building Communities Award April 25, 2017 for her work in this area.
Peyman Moeini, B. Eng., MASc, PMP, P.Eng., is an entrepreneur engineer who has launched several successful Internet of Things (IoT) & Artificial Intelligence (AI) products in various fields such as agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, freight, retail, and mining. He has won more than 30 innovation and entrepreneurship awards in the IoT&AI fields. Peyman has extensive knowledge and experience in the IoT&AI spaces. Through his career, Peyman has developed an AI algorithm that made the time efficiency of software 500 times faster for the exact same results! He holds several patents in this space and is the founder and CEO of Peytec, a Smart Industrial IoT&AI company that builds and sells hyper-accurate “Indoor GPS” and Sensing Systems. Under Sam’s leadership, OceanaGold has successfully doubled its North American shareholder ownership and established itself as a premier, multinational mid-tier gold producer amongst the investment community. As a member of OceanaGold’s executive management team, Sam has led the Company’s strategies for Investor impacts on ESG and quantitative investing. Prior to joining OceanaGold, Sam worked for EY where he was engaged on numerous high-profile projects mainly in the mining sector and held multiple commercial roles with Enbridge Inc. in Calgary and Toronto. Walter Siggelkow is the President and founder of Hard-Line which was established in 1996 in Sudbury, Ontario. Dr. Stubina joined Sherritt International as VP Technologies in November 2018. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Innovation for McEwen Mining. With 30 years of international industrial experience, Nathan also worked at various major mining companies including Barrick Gold Corp., Noranda Inc. and Falconbridge Limited.
Nathan holds a Ph.D., in Metallurgy and Materials from the University of Toronto and a B. Eng. in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering from McGill University.
Nathan is currently a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), and was VP International of the CIM. He is a Past-President of MetSoc (Metallurgy & Materials Society of the CIM), a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a member of the Lassonde Institute of Mining’s Advisory Committee at the University of Toronto. She has an internationally recognized track record of integrated geochemical and microbiological investigation. Dr. Warren’s work is breaking new ground and helping strengthen the mining industry today and into the future.
As Chief Principal Investigator her research develops transformative industry advancements through emerging molecular biological techniques. Some of her current research projects with Vale, Syncrude, COSIA, Glencore and CSIRO Australia develop real-world solutions around bio-mines and bio-intelligent organisms for mining impacted water. Through leading-edge wastewater management innovations she is helping industry be more sustainable, efficient and cost effective.
