Latin American's president and CEO, David Wahl uses an X-ray fluorescence (XRF) gun on mineralization outside of the Verdiona mine. XRF technology gives a rough reading of minerals in the rock, helping the company's geologists determine prospective areas, or when used on core, when a drill hole may or may not be worth continuing.
