Lisbon Valley genes, Utah, June 2006 -- Charlie Steen, father of Universal Uranium senior technical advisor Mark Steen, trades his old prospecting boots for new ones after discovering uranium in the hills outside Moab, Utah, in the early 1950s. The elder Steen had been living in poverty with his family until the find made him a millionaire.
